Get Recruited is working with a leading designer and supplier based in the heart of London who are looking for an experienced Womenswear Designer to specialise in Loungewear and Sleepwear in their expanding team.
The successful candidate will have worked in a fast paced, high street retail environment alongside well known high street retailers. As a Womenswear Designer you will be primarily trend focused with some traditional briefs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as part of an expanding Design team producing fashion forward designs for Loungewear/Sleepwear Womenswear Products
Producing designs for leading UK High Street Retailers
Using Adobe Illustrator / CAD/Illustrator
Work towards deadlines
Presenting designs to buying teams from high street retailers
Interpreting the latest trends into commercial products
Preparing artwork for the factory
THE PERSON:
Previous experience within a similar Womenswear Designer role specialising in Loungewear/Sleepwear products
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
Great communication skills and presenting skills
Have strong trend driven portfolio with commercial handwriting and a good commercial eye
Good trend knowledge and product knowledge for Sleepwear/Loungewear products
